I'm a Mechanical Engineering student at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, with coursework in Statics, Dynamics, Thermodynamics, Materials Science, and MATLAB. Dean's List for Fall 2023 and Spring 2024, and named to the SEC First & Second Year Academic Honor Roll.
I spent two years as a walk-on athlete on the LSU Men's Swim & Dive Team — training 20+ hours a week, competing at the SEC Championships, and representing a program ranked top 15 in the nation. Athletics taught me how to perform under pressure and stay accountable to a team.
Currently interning at Celtic Dynamics in Galway, Ireland, performing energy audits across commercial and industrial facilities and developing energy-saving proposals under Irish and EU incentive programs.
Embedded AI / Python
Real-time embedded AI system on an NVIDIA Jetson Nano Super: live YOLO object detection on a dashcam feed fused with USB OBD-II vehicle data. Custom trigger logic auto-initiates recording on accidents or aggressive driving, with anomaly detection on live OBD readings for predictive maintenance. Voice command interface, wireless video transfer, and deployed in-vehicle via fuse-tapped cigarette lighter circuit.
Systems / Networking
Built and configured a Linux-based home server running Jellyfin, Sonarr, Radarr, and qBittorrent in Docker containers. Implemented Tailscale VPN for secure remote access and Pi-hole for network-wide DNS ad blocking.
Mechanical / Energy
Team project developing an energy-harvesting doormat using the piezoelectric effect to capture unused mechanical energy from foot traffic. Designed components in Fusion 360 and built a functional decomposition chart for the system hierarchy.
Systems Analysis
Team project analyzing the key components and functions of an electric leaf blower. Modeled the assembly in Fusion 360 and built a hierarchical functional decomposition chart to illustrate relationships between mechanical and electrical subsystems.
